As a part of a freelance project, I was asked to design GUI screens for a COVID-19 Smart Watch. The watch can measure temperature, pulse rate, blood oxygen level (SpO2) and has Bluetooth connectivity.

“A wearable device to assist with the early detection of COVID-19 symptoms; with pulse oximeter and body temperature sensing.”

Scope of the project

  • Design 5 dynamic GUI screens – Home, Bluetooth, Heart-rate + SpO2, Temperature and Social Distancing alert.

  • Design animations for each of the screens to make them look dynamic and interactive.

  • Program the graphics and animation with an Arduino UNO.

  • Interface an IPS display with a controller (Arduino UNO) and display the screens along with animations on it.
